Connie Joy Cottle
MONTROSE – Connie Joy Cottle, 72, of Academy St., passed away Sunday in Dublin.
Services will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Allentown United Methodist Church. Rev. Billy Wicker and Rev. Steve Hamrick will officiate. The family will receive friends before the services.
Mrs. Cottle was born in Sebring, FL, the daughter of the late Louie Thomas and Gwendolyn Wynell McClendon Pender. She was a member of Montrose Baptist Church where she served as former Treasurer and Past President of the Women on Missions. She was also President of the Montrose Senior ladies. Mrs. Cottle was an active member of the AGAPE Stitchers at Allentown United Methodist Church. She was a veteran of the United States Army. Connie was a dedicated Businesswoman, Homemaker and Mother.
Survivors include her Husband, Henry B. Cottle, Jr. of Montrose. Son, Henry B. Trey Cottle, III of Montrose. Daughter Morgan Danise Cottle of Windsor, SC. Grandson, Jacob Tyler Cottle of Montrose. Former Daughter in Law, Virginia Ann Cottle. Brother, Richard Pender of Petaluma, CA, Sister, Lou Green of Vacaville, CA. Uncle, Albert Barry Pender of Midland, TX.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church AGAPE Stitchers at P.O. Box 100, Allentown, GA 31003.
