GRACE CHANCE REECE
JEFFERSONVILLE – Grace Virginia Chance Reece, of Hamlin Floyd Rd. passed away Sunday at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 6, 2016. At 3:00PM in Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant and Rev. Charles Carter will officiate.
Mrs. Reece was born in Danville, GA the daughter of the late Rufus C. and Myrtle Hill Chance. She was the widow of the late Harold L. Reece, Sr., and was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Chance, and Joe Hill Chance. Mrs. Reece was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where she was very active in the Neva Carden Sunday School Class, and was the longest serving member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. One of her favorite sayings was... I went to Mt. Zion nine months before I was born...
Survivors include her children, Sue Ellen (Herman) Floyd, Brenda Reece, Cherry (Richard) Mullis, and Harold (Becky) Reece, Jr. Grandchildren, Greg (Tammy) Floyd, Doug (Julie) Floyd, Carrie (Mike) Martucci, Amanda (Scott) Radebaugh, Hunter Harper and Jesse Reece. Great Grandchildren, Amanda Killebrew, Jacob Floyd, Chance Floyd, Eli Floyd, Lena Brooks Daniels, Summer Martucci and Autumn Martucci. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Graces family would like to thank a very special caregiver Ceolia Smith for the love and care she gave our mother.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday in Mount Zion Baptist Church, 4013 GA Hwy 358 Danville, GA 31017
